PlayBuild NOLA

Palmisano forged a partnership with PlayBuild NOLA, a local educational non-profit based in New Orleans’ Central City neighborhood. This area of the city is adjacent to our Tchoupitoulas Riverfront office, and finding a way to be active in our immediate work community was a priority. PlayBuild’s mission is to transform under-utilized urban spaces into exciting kid-friendly environments for play and learning. Their goal is to engage under-served youth through creativity and active learning and to stimulate curiosity, enthusiasm, and an interest in exploring careers across a wide spectrum of design disciplines.

With assistance from a network of consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers we led the effort to build a new permanent outdoor classroom. The addition of a restroom and utility room brings needed amenities to the site.
