Since 2023, unCommon Construction’s partnership with the Palmisano Foundation has focused on creating real, lasting pathways for young people after high school. By combining hands-on jobsite experiences, mentorship, and consistent career support, the program is designed to help apprentices transition into meaningful opportunities beyond graduation.

This approach has led to strong, measurable outcomes. Today, 85% of graduating apprentices secure jobs or continue their education within three months, and 95% remain employed or enrolled six months after graduation, reflecting both immediate success and sustained progress.

Beyond the numbers, the partnership has expanded access to real-world exposure and support systems. Apprentices and alumni have participated in more than nine field trips and site visits, while also receiving direct career coaching that helps them navigate education, employment, and long-term goals with confidence.

Together, these efforts have strengthened connections between young people and the construction industry, building not just skills, but long-term opportunity. The results reflect a model that continues to grow, evolve, and deliver impact where it matters most.
